Vital Signs Report 2023

The 2023 Vital Signs report, “Building Bridges of Inclusion,” is brought to you by The County Foundation. This year’s theme focuses on inclusion, belonging, and the challenges of urbanization and preserving our sense of community. The report draws from statistical data and the perspectives of around 200 local stakeholders representing diverse demographics.

Methodology

Data is drawn from quantitative and qualitative primary and secondary sources. Statistical data was gathered from a variety of sources at the national, provincial and municipal levels as well as from studies by community and regional organizations. For the purposes of this report, statistical data is drawn primarily from Statistics Canada unless otherwise noted. Qualitative data was gathered from conversations and surveys of approximately 200 residents of Prince Edward County.
